Calendar and table
Two views of one month: a day grid with receipts, payments and balance, or a table with cash movement and end-of-day balance.
See in advance on which days you will run short of cash, and move a payment or speed up a receipt in time.
The payment calendar in Financist shows income, payments and the projected balance for each day of the month: past days from actuals, future days from planned payments and unpaid commitments. If the balance turns negative, the report highlights a cash gap with its dates, length and lowest balance.
A payment calendar is a schedule of future receipts and payments by day, together with the projected cash balance. A cash gap is a period when the projected balance on your accounts is negative: payments are due, but the money is not there yet. To learn how to avoid gaps, read the guide to payment calendars and cash gaps.
The calendar does not guess the future: it counts only what you have entered as a plan or a commitment.

For each gap you see the start and end, the number of days, the lowest balance and the date it happens. Gap days are highlighted.
An alert shows how many planned operations and commitments were not closed on time and links to their list.
Planned operations can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, and the calendar picks them up ahead of time.
Click a day to see its receipts, payments and balance, and open that day's transactions.
Filter by accounts and legal entities, move between months, export to CSV and print.

Add planned payments and receipts, and supplier and customer invoices as commitments; set regular payments to repeat.
Check the totals: receipts, payments, end-of-month balance and the lowest balance with its date.
If the report shows a gap, find the payment that causes it and open the transactions of that day.
Move the payment date, complete an overdue operation or speed up a receipt, and the calendar recalculates.
The calendar is for owners and finance managers who are responsible for paying on time: salaries, rent, suppliers, taxes. It answers questions such as:
For example, today there is 4,000 EUR on the accounts. On the 10th a supplier must be paid 3,500 EUR, on the 12th salaries of 3,000 EUR are due, and a customer pays 5,000 EUR only on the 15th. The balance is 500 EUR after the 10th, -2,500 EUR after the 12th and 2,500 EUR after the 15th. The calendar shows a 3-day gap (from the 12th to the 14th) with a lowest balance of -2,500 EUR. The cash flow statement gives the overall picture of cash movement, and the business health indicators show the state of the business as a whole.
A cash gap is an unbroken run of days, starting from today, when the projected balance on your accounts is negative. For each gap the report shows the start and end dates, the number of days, the lowest balance and the date it is deepest.
From what is entered in the system: open planned operations, recurring payments and unpaid remainders of commitments. The calendar does not invent receipts or payments. The more complete your plans, the more accurate the forecast.
The cash flow statement totals cash movement for a period by category and account. The calendar spreads it over the days of one month and calculates the balance at the end of each day, so you can spot the day money runs short. For long periods and groupings, the cash flow statement is better.
Planned operations and commitments dated before today that have not been completed or paid. They are not placed on a particular day but shown in a separate alert with a count and totals. Complete the operation or move its date.
Yes. The month calendar can be downloaded as a CSV file that opens in Excel, and printed. The file follows the selected month and the filters by accounts and legal entities.
